We’ve eaten here before and noticed a lot of social media activity following a poor food hygiene rating, so we thought we would check it out again for ourselves. The restaurant looks really clean, recently redecorated, new carpets etc. so initial impression was good. Got to say, the food was great, actually better than we remembered it. The wine was very reasonably priced but the highlight was definitely the service; really friendly and welcoming. We asked the owner about the rating, she explained everything and, from our point of view, we’ll be back soon. Really great evening. Thanks.

Fabulous find. The food was incredible, service was spot on. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely lady Lovely place, have already been back for a takeaway, which was also amazing. Highly recommended

Just had an incredible experience with the XO fried rice from my go-to Chinese restaurant. The aroma that filled the room when I opened the container was mouthwatering. The rice itself was perfectly cooked—not too dry and not too sticky. The XO sauce, with its rich umami flavor, was distributed evenly, giving each bite a bold, savory kick. Generous chunks of shrimp, char siu pork, and vegetables added wonderful texture and flavor. The balance of ingredients was spot-on, making every mouthful a delightful mix of tastes and textures. A truly satisfying dish that hits all the right notes. Highly recommend!

Our favourite place on the high street, really friendly service and the food is so good, authentic and tasty, the char Sui pork is incredible we get it every time

We have made this one of our regular events. The food is really tasty,to the point that nothing tastes the same. A culunary experience every time. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Toilets are a small affair so sadly no room for wheelchairs or baby changing.
